As the city's first operational commercial winery, it crafts premium small-batch wines on-site, sourcing grapes from boutique vineyards across the country .

Limited street parking is available nearby, and valet service is offered on-site for $25. Additional paid parking can be found at the Yards Lot Q or the Dock 79 Garage, both within a short walk.

District Winery is a 6–8 minute walk from the Navy Yard–Ballpark Metro Station (Green Line). Exit toward Nationals Park and stroll along the scenic waterfront to the venue.
